Changing the World Through Adult Development

Across the world, there is a growing awareness of three interconnected crises: ecological, economic, and of our own meaning-making. People and families are shifting their behaviour, new organizations are forming, and coordinated movements are emerging. How is the field of adult development solving or contributing to these crises?

Naryan Wong has been mapping various communities and movements trying to guide the evolution of our systems – to shift humanity into a less precarious world. A world with regenerative ecologies, economic justice, where society itself contributes to a feedback loop of personal growth & wisdom.

In this session, Naryan will share a tour of the various groups, fields, communities that he’s been exploring – their theories of change, how they coordinate; and lead small group discussions exploring how we might make small changes in our strategies that would multiply our impact on the world.
